Here’s a fantastic video review of our new game, Junk Art by Shut Up and Sit Down. He really loved the game and had many wonderful things to say about it. Here are a few of my favourite quotes:
“It’s more wonderful than you might first think it is.”
“It’s a terrific surprise waiting to burst out of the box!”
“It is, absolutely, hands-down the very best game you can get that’s about putting things on top of other things.”
“Shut Up and Sit Down thoroughly recommends Junk Art!”
“It is silly and slapstick but also quite clever and nuanced.”
“It’s going to take pride and place in my collection.”
Wow – what a great review! Thanks Paul – and thanks Shut Up and Sit Down!!
The Board Game Kaptain has posted a rules summary and a review of our new game, Junk Art…and he loved it!He even had his wife chime in with a second opinion and she loved it even more than he did! Some things that stood out:
“Even though I was dreading this game, I think this game is a lot of fun!”
“If you like high quality games that are going to last you years and years and years, buy this game.”
“If you like light-hearted dexterity games that have spontaneous bouts of laughter, buy this game!”
Wow – awesome! Thanks for all the kind words and for taking the time to make this video.

Curious about how the World Tour works in Junk Art? Here’s a nifty video that explains it pretty succinctly!
Zee Garcia from the Dice Tower explained why he loved Junk Art so much during a live Dice Tower event at the end of Origins! I had only heard the audio before – but here’s the video!
While at Origins, Nate from IDW Games was asked by Learn to Play to give an overview of how Godfather: A New Don works. He does an admirable job going through all the aspects of the game – but there are still some interesting things left to explore once it is released this summer! Remember to pre-order from your favourite local game store!
OK – one day after posting the cutest interview we ever did, comes this video review of our game This Town Ain’t Big Enough for the 2-4 of Us – by Dara…who’s 3 years old! 🙂 It’s 100% cute and pretty funny too!
We’ve had a bunch of people question specific things about how to find a temple in our new game, Akrotiri from Z-Man Games. We’ve answered them all as they came up but it made us think that we should make a quick video with some actual examples! Here they are:
Our first game to be released at Essen Spiel is Akrotiri and we have our first video overview of the game thanks to boardgamegeek’s livestream! Click on this link and then jump to the 7:14:00 mark right near the end to watch this 5 minute overview of the game! Thanks to JF from Filosofia for presenting it so nicely!
